Questions people ask before they hire a cleaner.
Pricing, scheduling, who comes into your home, what's included, and where we work — answered plainly. If something isn't here, call or email and ask.
01 Pricing & quotes
6 questions
01How do you price a cleaning job?
Flat rate, quoted before we start. For homes it's based on square footage, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, the type of clean, and whether there are pets. For rentals it's a fixed price per property per turnover. For commercial it's a written scope of work against a set schedule, priced monthly. In all three cases you agree to a number before anyone shows up.
02Why don't you list prices on the website?
Because a number on a page would be a guess, and a guess is how you end up with a quote that changes at the door. A 1,400 sq ft home cleaned every other week and a 1,400 sq ft home cleaned once after two years of tenants are completely different jobs. Call or email and you'll have a real, firm number — usually the same day.
03Do you charge extra for the first visit?
Often, yes, and we say so up front. A first clean on a home that hasn't been professionally cleaned recently takes substantially longer than the maintenance visits that follow. That first visit is quoted separately, and the recurring rate — which is lower — starts on visit two.
04Are there any hidden fees?
No trip fees, no fuel surcharges, no supply fees, no card fees. Add-ons like oven interiors, refrigerator interiors, interior windows, or laundry are quoted individually and only happen if you approve them.
05How do I pay?
Card, ACH, or check, invoiced after the service. Recurring residential clients can keep a card on file and be charged automatically after each visit. Commercial accounts are invoiced monthly on standard terms.
06Do you require a contract?
Not for residential or vacation rental work — recurring schedules are cancellable with reasonable notice. Commercial accounts start with a short initial term to cover onboarding and training, then continue month to month.

07How far out do you book?
Usually within the same week for residential work, sooner for rental turnovers on an existing route. Peak periods fill first: coastal Saturdays in summer, lease-turn weeks in May and August, and the run-up to major holidays. Give as much notice as you can for those.
08Do you offer weekend or evening appointments?
Residential visits run mon–sat, 7am–7pm. Rental turnovers run seven days a week because that's when guests check in and out. Commercial janitorial work is normally after hours or before opening.
09What if I need to reschedule?
Tell us as early as you can and we'll move it, no charge. A cancellation inside 24 hours of the scheduled window may carry a fee, because that slot was held for you and the crew was staffed for it.
10Do I need to be home?
Most clients aren't. We work from keys, lockboxes, garage codes, or smart locks, and you get a notification when the crew arrives and when they leave. If you'd rather be there for the first visit to walk the space, that's welcome.
11How do you handle keys and access codes?
Keys are coded rather than labeled with addresses, and lockbox, alarm, and gate codes are stored access-restricted. If a substitute cleaner will be on your visit, we tell you beforehand — you should never be surprised by who is in your home.
03 In your home
10 questions
12Are your cleaners insured and background-checked?
Yes to both, on every job. We carry general liability insurance and a janitorial bond, and every cleaner clears a criminal background check and identity verification before their first scheduled job — not after a probationary period.
13Will I get the same cleaner every time?
On a recurring schedule, that's the default. Consistency is the whole point: your crew learns which rug can't get wet and which room the baby naps in. If someone is out sick, we tell you in advance rather than sending a stranger unannounced.
14Do you bring supplies and equipment?
Yes — products, cloths, and vacuums come with the crew. If you'd prefer specific products for a stone counter, a sealed hardwood, or a scent sensitivity in the house, leave them out with a note and we'll use yours.
15Do you use eco-friendly or fragrance-free products?
On request, at no extra charge. Say the word when you book and the crew arrives with a low-fragrance, low-VOC kit. For a specific allergy or sensitivity, tell us what to avoid and we'll confirm what we'd use instead.
16What about pets?
Pets are normal and welcome. Tell us their names, where they'll be, and anything we should know — a dog that bolts for an open door, a cat that hides in the linen closet. Pet hair and litter areas are factored into the quote rather than surprising anyone.
17Should I tidy up before you arrive?
You don't have to, but clear flat surfaces mean more of the visit goes into actual cleaning instead of moving things around. If you'd like us to organize as we go, mention it up front so it's built into the quote.
18Do you do laundry or dishes?
Dishes in the sink are handled as part of a kitchen reset. Laundry is an add-on for residential clients, and standard on vacation rental turnovers where linens are part of the service.
19What if something gets broken?
You get told, immediately and in writing, and it goes through insurance. We'd rather tell you about a chipped bowl than have you find it a week later. Genuinely irreplaceable items — heirlooms, art, collections — are better put away before a first visit.
20What if I'm not happy with the clean?
Tell us within 24 hours and we re-clean the room at no charge. Not a partial credit, not a debate. It's a cleaning service; the bar is that you're happy when you walk in.
21Do you clean carpets, windows, or do mold remediation?
No to all three as specialties. We vacuum carpet but don't shampoo or extract it; we clean interior glass but not exterior windows above ground level; and we clean surface mildew but do not do mold remediation, which is licensed work. When you need one of those, we'll say so and point you at someone who does it properly.

22Can you do same-day turnovers?
Yes — it's the normal case. Turnovers are scheduled into your checkout-to-check-in window, routed and confirmed the evening before, with a backup cleaner assigned on peak days.
23Do you handle linens?
Both ways. On-site laundering where there's a machine and enough time, or swapped clean sets that arrive with the crew and leave dirty with them. Large properties and tight windows almost always run better on swapped sets.
24Do you restock consumables?
Yes, to par levels you set — paper goods, soap, dish and laundry supplies, coffee, liners. You get a low-supply alert before you run out.
25Will I know if a guest caused damage?
The same day, with photos, before the next guest checks in — so you're inside the platform's claim window. We report damage; we don't repair it and we don't clean around it.
26Do you work with property managers?
Yes. We'll work from your PMS or channel calendar, follow your property-specific checklist and staging standard, and invoice per property so costs pass through to owners cleanly.
05 Commercial & janitorial
5 questions
27How does commercial pricing work?
A walkthrough, then a written scope of work mapped to a frequency, then one fixed monthly price against it. You approve the task list before you see the number, so you're comparing standards rather than guessing what a bid actually includes.
28Do you clean after hours?
Most commercial work happens after close or before opening, on keys, fobs, or an access code with alarm codes on file. Day porter coverage during business hours is available where restrooms and common areas need attention through the day.
29Can you provide a certificate of insurance?
Yes, naming your building or management company as required by your lease. General liability, janitorial bonding, and workers' compensation are carried on every commercial account.
30Do you supply paper goods and soap?
If you want us to — supplied and restocked on the same schedule as the cleaning, billed at cost plus handling. Or we'll simply restock what you buy.
31What if quality slips?
You get a named account contact rather than a ticket queue, plus periodic walkthroughs against the written scope. Anything being missed is corrected on the next service at no charge, and accounts run month to month after the initial term because the work should keep the account.
06 Service areas
3 questions
32Where do you work?
Two markets. El Paso, Texas — the West Side, Upper Valley, Central, East Side, Northeast, Fort Bliss area, Horizon City, Socorro, San Elizario, Canutillo, and Anthony. Wilmington, North Carolina — downtown and the historic district, Mayfaire, Landfall, Porters Neck, Ogden, Monkey Junction, Riverlights, the beaches at Wrightsville, Carolina, and Kure, plus Leland, Brunswick Forest, Hampstead, and Topsail.
33Do you charge a travel fee for outlying areas?
No. Crews are routed by area, and if an address is far enough out that we can't service it well, we'll tell you that instead of quoting a job we'd struggle to keep.
34Are the two markets run to the same standard?
Same checklists, same hiring and background-check standard, same guarantee. The difference is climate-specific training: hard water and dust control in El Paso, humidity and sand control in Wilmington.
No question matches that. Call (575) 270-9330 and just ask us.
