El Paso short-term rentals don't run on a beach-town rhythm. Demand comes in concentrated waves: Fort Bliss family visits and unit ceremonies, UTEP football weekends and graduation, medical travel to the hospital district, cross-border business trips, and the long Hueco Tanks climbing season from October into March.
What that means operationally is that quiet weeks are followed by weekends where every property in your portfolio turns on the same afternoon. A cleaner who can handle one turn is not the same as a crew that can handle six in one Saturday window — and the second one is what actually protects your rating.
Add the local variable: a property that sat empty through a windy week has grit on the sills, film on the glass, and hard-water spotting in the shower. All three photograph badly. All three are on the turnover checklist.

Twice a year, the reset a hundred fast turns can't do: grout, vents, appliance interiors, baseboards, upholstery, and hard-water build-up on every shower door in the place.
Casita & guest-suite turns
Detached casitas and converted garages get their own checklist and their own line on the invoice instead of being folded into the main house's time.

01Can you turn a property between an 11am checkout and a 3pm check-in?
Yes. That four-hour window is the standard El Paso turn and it's what the schedule is built around. Give us the checkout time and the check-in time and we'll confirm the slot the day before, not the morning of.
02Do you handle rentals near UTEP and downtown?
Those are two of the busiest pockets we work. Sunset Heights, Kern Place, downtown lofts, and the bungalows around the university turn constantly during football weekends, graduation, and event weeks. We also cover the East Side, the West Side, and the properties out toward Horizon City.
03What about climbing and hiking season traffic?
Hueco Tanks bouldering season runs roughly October through March and it fills short-term rentals with early-departure guests. Those turns tend to run earlier in the day than a typical vacation booking, and we schedule them that way rather than showing up on a summer timetable in January.
04Do you restock consumables?
Yes — paper goods, soap, dish and laundry supplies, coffee, and trash liners, kept to par levels you set. You get a low-supply alert before you run out rather than a message from a guest about it.
05Can you cover a multi-property portfolio?
Yes. Fixed per-turn pricing per property, routed as a group so back-to-back Saturdays don't fall apart, and one consolidated invoice. Owners with three or more properties get a named coordinator instead of a general line.
06How do you handle dust between guests?
Window sills, tracks, thresholds, blinds, vents, and ceiling fans are on the turnover checklist here, not on the deep-clean-only list. In El Paso a property that sat empty for four days during wind season has visible grit on the sills, and a guest will photograph it.
